The Journey that Shaped my Work
My story did not begin with Umah Tara.
​
It began in Bali.
​
I was born into a Balinese High Priest lineage, and spiritually, tradition and connection to the sacred were part of the environment I grew up in.
​
But my path eventually took me far beyond the place where I was born.
​
I travelled, lived and worked in different countries, experiencing different cultures, people and ways of life. Each chapter expanded my understanding of the world and of myself.
​
My career evolved along the way.
​
I continued learning, developing my professional skills and building my experience in the wellness and hospitality industries. I worked internationally including in the Middle East, and eventually made my way to Australia.
​
Every place taught me something different.
​
Every career chapter gave me another piece of the woman i was becoming.
And throughout this outward journey, something much deeper was developing within me.

2002 - THE BEGINNING of MY REIKI JOURNEY
​
In 2002, I was introduced to Reiki.
​
At first, I could not have imagined how significant that moment would become.
​
Reiki become a personal practice, a way to slow down, reconnect and listen to something deeper within myself.
​
As my relationship with Reiki grew, so did my desire to understand healing more deeply.
​
I continued to study, practice and learn. Along the way, I become a Reiki Master.
​
But the title was never the destination. the real journey was what Reiki continued to teach me about myself.
​
The Wound as the Way​​
For years, Bella lived out of alignment with her feminine essence, taking on the roles of provider, protector, and caretaker, while silencing the quiet ache for something deeper. In 2008, a soul-altering decision to leave a wounded marriage became the doorway to her awakening.
Rather than bypass the pain, Bella entered it, fully and bravely. Through sacred rituals, spiritual study, and the support of mentors, she transmuted her suffering into strength. This was not the end, it was the beginning of becoming.

She embraced her soul contract with grace and courage, allowing every chapter of her life to be part of her initiation. What emerged was a woman not only healed, but empowered. And through healing herself, Bella discovered her highest calling: guiding others to do the same.

The Transformation & Return to Wholeness

By 2012, Bella had not only integrated years of spiritual and emotional healing, she had found a renewed sense of wholeness. This included sacred union and love with her life partner, Sebastien, with whom she continues to walk a path of mutual growth, support and soul partnership.
​
Today, Bella continues to serve from a place of grounded, presence, reverence, and soul alignment. Bella holds space for transformation in others. Her sessions are not just appointments, they are sacred containers for remembering, releasing and rising. Her approach blends intuition with extensive trainings, ancestral knowledge with global techniques, and gentle compassion with soul deep clarity. She helps clients heal old wounds, reconnect with their true essence, and step into lives aligned with their deepest purpose and abundance. ​​​​​
BETWEEN BALI and AUSTRALIA​​
​My journey eventually brought me to Australia, while Bali remained deeply connected to who I am .
​
For along time, I thought I had to choose between the differnet worlds I had lived in.
Eventually, I realised I didn't.
I could bring them together.
The wisdom of Bali.
The experience of living internationally.
The grounded reality of building a career and business.
The depth of Reiki.
The intuitive and spiritual work.

The understanding that comes from walking through my own life experiences. ​
They could all belong in the same space.
​
That space became UMAH TARA.

Motherhood & Grandmotherhood
​At the heart of Bella’s journey, lies the sacred art of motherhood
and grand-motherhood, her first and most enduring roles as a mentor. These roles have taught her the depth of unconditional love, the strength of resilience, and the power of presence.
These are not mere titles, they are the roots of her offerings. They’ve shaped her intuition, softened her heart, and made her healing presence feel like home.

A Devotional Life
Bella lives what she teaches. Her days begin in ritual - with nature walks, prayer, yoga, and nourishing meals shared in love. Her home is her temple, and her practices is an extension of how she walks through life: in devotion, in gratitude, and in service. ​

She continues to evolve , learning, unlearning, and embodying deeper into her path as a mentor, healer, mother, grandmother, partner, and a vessel of ancestral healing and Light.
